The Association of Municipalities Polish Network “Energie Cités” organises an online event in collaboration with consortium partners and within the framework of EUKI project OUR-CEE (Overcoming Underperforming Renovations in Central and Eastern Europe) to address challenges in building renovations and explore solutions to drive impactful renovations across the CEE region.
PNEC – The Association of Municipalities Polish Network “Energie Cités” is organising this online event on Tuesday, 10 December 2024, 10:00 – 12:00 CET, in collaboration with consortium partners and within the framework of EUKI project OUR-CEE – Overcoming Underperforming Renovations in CEE.
The renovation of public buildings plays a pivotal role in enhancing energy efficiency and significantly reducing carbon emissions. Despite its importance, many projects across Central and Eastern Europe encounter persistent challenges, including suboptimal performance, constrained municipal capacities, and the absence of integrated, forward-thinking strategies.
This event will explore how to address obstacles in building renovations which is essential to unlocking their full potential and achieving ambitious climate goals. It will bring together project partners and invited experts to share insights, case studies, and practical solutions for improving the implementation of building renovations.

- Alexandru Coman, Energy Specialist at the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency Ploiești-Prahova, presenting methods to support municipalities in sustainable building renovations.
- Michał Gruszczyński from the Energy Management team at the City of Bydgoszcz, sharing insights on innovative monitoring systems and modernisation projects.
- Janusz Kahl, President of South Poland Cleantech Cluster, showcasing the One-Stop Shop model as a support system for residents, property owners, and managers during the renovation process.
